Rockabilly and 60′s surf bands, camping, swap meet, vintage jalopy racing on the 3/8 mile dirt tract! Mini-bike drags, dunk tank, ladies roller derby, pin-up girl contest and more!
Wisconsin’s newest traditional hot rod and custom car show will kick off it’s inaugural event this Labor Day weekend August 30th thru September1st at the Portage County Fairgrounds in Amherst, WI.
More than 200 vintage hot rods, custom cars and jalopies are expected to make the trip to Amherst. 14 bands will provide rockabilly, surf and honky tonk music during the three day event. Headlining the event’s music line-up will be the legendary surf band The Trashmen. With seven Top 100 hits and 10 albums, the band will rock the house on Saturday at 7:30 PM. Other groups include the Reckless One’s, The Magnetos, Crankshaft and the Gear Grinders, Kevin Fayte, The Honeybees, The Revomatics, Eddie Biebel and the Skylarks and others.
There will be a Pin-Up Girl contest on the Surf stage on Saturday afternoon.
