Neuville Motors and the Waupaca Breakfast Rotary Club will be hosting the 8th annual “Waupaca’s Own Summer Benefit Concert” on Saturday, July 7th at 7:00 PM in the Waupaca High School Performing Arts Center. Doors to the lobby will open at 6:00 PM, with doors to the PAC opening approximately 6:40 PM. Most seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please arrive early and enjoy a pre-performance piano concert in the lobby.

This annual fundraising performance showcases the talents of 12 local performing artists All performers have appeared in lead roles on stage both professionally and in various Waupaca events throughout the years. The performance brings together a delightful blend of musical styles from broadway to pop to opera arias! Performers who were involved in all of the first 7 years include Dan Wolfram, Kristen Sporakowski, Eric Neuville, Lindsay Neuville, along with pianist Wanda Eikenbary. The Waupaca High School State Champion Dance Team will be providing refreshments during the intermission.

The Summer Benefit Concert is the major fundraiser for the Waupaca High School Vocal Music Department and the Waupaca Rotary Club. Last year, proceeds from the performance provided $4000 to the Vocal Music Scholarship Fund of Waupaca High School, and over $8000 worth of educational grants for projects submitted by Waupaca school teachers.

Another major source of revenue is a free-will, tax-deductible offering taken at the door. Checks should be made out to WACF (Waupaca Area Community Foundation). Receipts will be sent out for contributions over $100.
